Born in Minnesota, I have always had an interest in narrative and how those narratives are presented visually. This interest is deepened by my interest in history, people, and language each shaping the world around us and the narratives that we share with one another. My time as a student at the College of St. Benedict in St. Joseph MN has allowed me to explore all of these interests and to explore them through the medium of art. It is through this exploration that I have come to my focus of graphic design and illustration which I will pursue into the future, trying to bring out the words through illustration and bring clarity to the illustrations through words.
